Posed this question to Mr. Kean on the telly, his
reply-


"It WAS a Les and John Bradley recondtioned MKII
(#123) that was purchased with the master tapes in
1990,  2 years previous to the recording of this disk.
We used that instrument for all of the sounds that are
called MKII XXX. Everthing else was recorded on 400
#142, now owned by Charlie Gillingham of Counting
Crows, and #245 owned by me. I restored those two
machines. One track (the choirs in question) are from
my MK V. The 300 used was rebuilt by myself and Markus
Resch. All recordings were on Ampex 350 electronics
into a DAT by your's truely. These recordings were
compiled by Justin Mayer with Alchemy on a MAC over a
VERY long period of time in 1992-3. Pinder came to a
listening test with myself and Justin after we had
finished the tweeks and couldn't tell the diff between
the disk and the real machines we had set up in the
room. Likewise went the listening test with some of
the Keyboard magazine staff in attendence. A new disk
with the REST of the tron sounds, more chamberlin and
some Birotron is in the works."
