My best guess is that this is likely Vincent Gallo's MkII #149 (formerly Steve Frothingham's).
If so, I have inspected this m/c while in the possession of both owners. It has not been
maintained at all; in fact, Steve found it in the late Mickey Newbury's barn in Washington
state. The cycling doesn't work (no big surprose there), the interior is pretty filthy, the
keyboard action sucks, the exterior is pretty clean. Not sure about the Abbey Road
connection...and 1961?

Greetings All, I contacted Steve Frothingham in late 1990's
during my MK-II quest. I guess owning a MK-II means just
that, not including clean-up and/or repairs. If memory serves,
Steve was quite evasive then when I questioned about details.

Another new eBayer testing the waters, whilst attempting
to "raise the bar" pricewise. "1961"..... two years B4 the MK-I
went into production. "Abbey Road"....more buzz-words
added to entice a buyer. and "$20K" Hmmmm.....

Thanks for the info/details ,Frank .

Cheers, Jerry Korb (eBayer since 1997 , an "old-timer"),
and " old grey hoss"

MK-I/124 , circa 1963 and substantiated (Julia's 40th very soon)
M300/037, c.1968?
M400/681 , c. 1973
and JKMK6/001 , my "newborn" with a heart of Mellotronic gold.
