I think that counts, given that you were what, 19 at the time? I remember setting up my trons between acts at ProgFest '93. I was standing at Anna's spot, and brought up the choir. I played some of the Lamb (Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats?) and the people in the crowd cheered! Didn't expect that... made me suddenly self-conscious... anyway, before the show I ran up to front of house, said hi to the sound man, and asked "may I?" and bumped up the fader for the choir tron a couple of inches. Then I said "believe me, this will be great!" And it was. Mattias you were so full of 19-year-old prog energy - I remember you blew over the cymbal stands a couple times. That was history, dude. - Gene -----Original Message----- From: Mattias Olsson [mailto:mattias.olsson5@...] Sent: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 12:32 AM To: Mellotronists@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [Mellotronists] First time you ever saw a live band use a Mellotron Sorry about this but the first time I saw a Liveband use a Mellotron was with my own band Änglagård...Thomas was standing on my right. Does that count...? // Mattias
