ocean audio is a VERY reputable dealer.
thier current tape machine listings:

thier listing are always changing, and they used to send
out a weekly fax with newly acquired goods [not sure if
they still do that or not].

note: i believe that a 1/4" head block/tape guides option
can turn a 1/2" into a 1/4" [and versa visa of course] which
is what we had at studio 4 here in philly.

analogue machines are almos being given away compared to just
a ffew years ago. protools, for better or worse, has invaded
the professional studio.

now instead of buying a reel of 2" tape you buy a firewire
hard disk for your sessions...
