There's more--but a couple I thought I'd mention since they are right here on my desk: 1. Britta Phillips & Dean Wareham "L'Avventura" (Jetset Records TWA59CD). (USA Release) Two members of Luna (produced by Tony Visconti). Track four, "Out Walking" has light eerie 'tron strings in the background...has a Mk. 2 strings sound. The CD is light ballad pop--treading dangerously close to the shoegazer category...the Mellotron was played by Tony himself. www.deanandbritta.com 2. Ashlay MacIsaac "Ashley MacIsaac" (Decca 0224-02) (USA Release) A great blend of celtic-fusion recorded between New York, New Jersey, New Brunswick and Toronto. Chamberlin strings and flute on the emphasis track "Lay Me Down"--and barely noticeable on the last track "Fairy Dance". Keyboards played by Paul Bryan, Roger Greewnawalt, Rex Gibson, and Joan Wasser, along with synths and harmonium. www-ashley-macisaac.com NP: Teledubgnosis "Magnetic Learning Center"
