> Any horror stories of insuring your 'tron/vintage gear?

Mine is named on the home contents insurance. In view of the fact that
it's worth less than five thousand pounds (which is the maximum
individual item coverage available on the policy) it's simply added
without surcharge. The advantage of naming it is that, in the event of a
fire, theft or whatever, you can establish ownership in advance and
avoid quibbling about whether or not such a thing existed or not.
