<<Cousins...well, it takes some getting used to...>>

at some point in the mid 70s (need some help here..) this same mr cousins
somehow became the manager of the local independent radio station in teesside
(radio tees, oddly enough). steve and I, both teessiders, were completely
unaware of this- thinking it a coincidence- until we met the lads in the
elephant's head, the pub over the road from where I work at mtv/vh-1.
terrible jacket- he looked like a redcoat from a holiday camp. meeting him
was a big enough surprise without this additional freakery-outery, and
hudson/ford ("burn baby burn" was quite a hit here) at the same time...
richard gave steve a lift home even.

martin originally rang me to see if vh-1 would be at all interested in doing
a piece on the chiswick anniversary concert, so I asked paul "love and pride"
king, he of the painted DM's and nowadays a producer, and paul said "let's
get them in". is the vh-1 appearance on this dvd then?

duncan/400nr1098- too tatty for the strawbs but been on mtv anyway.
