Yes I
remember that Orpheus was from the Boston area. Alan Lorber, their
producer, went to Boston one weekend to find musicians for a me (he wanted to
sign me to MGM and I needed a band). Instead he found Orpheus and a few other
bands, and he worked with them instead. I guess I was pretty good luck for him.
Those were good old days. I lived in NYC then.
