I usually trim the volume on the undelayed signal.  It is strange, 
but even when trimmed 50% it can still be percieved as louder.
I guess we get our direction and volume clues from the sound that 
arrives at the ear first.

I will have to try ... "double a 3violins track with m300 strings".

I just put the M300B Violins frame in....  Wow.... What a great
sound that is!!!!
