The question is - > does the info get serialized then deserialized? This is really a discussion for the synth-diy list, but what the heck. (For those who don't know about it, "synth-diy" is a long-running email forum for synthesizer builders. It's probably the friendliest and most intelligent place on the web with the greatest level of knowledge sharing. Highly recommended.) > Did his philosophy endure into the Voyager as well? If I were doing it, I would have a microprocessor scanning the keyboard, immediately sending out CV, gate and trigger signals, and then when there were extra free cycles, pop midi commands into the uart. But perhaps Bob does something better. How to test it, indeed. One way would be to scope both gate signal and the midi output at the same time and see which responds first and by how much. -- Don -- Don Tillman Palo Alto, California, USA don@... http://www.till.com
