Ken and all,

I did see Spring live back in 1971 or 2 at Aston University in Birmingham.  
They used one MKII and one keyboard player.  It sounded amazing and 
completely upstaged Mike Pinder for me.  It was played aggressively and was 
loud in the stage mix.  They only had an album's worth of material so 
repeated some songs and Pat Moran, the singer, was definitely out of his head 
on special stuff.  I was very impressed with them as they could perform the 
album fautlessly.  Excellent stuff.
