<< He needs to go into the Master page, then into Import, then into Akai, and it'll find it and read it just fine. If he simply tries to do a Load, you're right, it won't see the disk. >> I hate emu now. I have three of their samplers (two esi32's and a 4000, all turbo'd and maxed and with internal syquests) and an audity. the 4000 let me down badly this weekend with a scsi board failure, and I just got an e-mail from emu support in the states saying that no, I can't have the expansion rom for my audity because they stopped making it, but would I like to think about trading up to a proteus? we should count ourselves lucky we have such good support for our mellotrons- manufacturers just don't seem to give a toss these days. grrr. duncan disorderly, m400nr1098, never let 'em down yet though it did catch fire once, and it's still sulking about the trip to america. well, the samplers will be keeping it company now. I'm going to stock up on ram cards for the alesis s4 instead.
