my asr-10 also has the capability to read/import akai format cdroms, but i am not familiar with the emu unit in question. the akai cdrom format does seem to be one of the more common available. some samplers are better at importing them than others, and some settings may need tweaking after importing, so be sure to save them again (if possible) after these adjustments are made to save you some effort next time you need to play these sounds!
