No, they pre-date this. I believe that they were installed in the 
mid-70s, because they were in the machine when the chap from whom I 
bought it, bought it.

I suspect that these must be a Dave Kean modification because I shipped 
"Julia" with no amplifiers or speakers installed (or otherwise)
