Mellotronists

Hi,
I'm looking for advice etc. on recording my own mellotron tapes.  I have a 
plan.  I'm a recording engineer/producer  and mellotron/chamberlin 
owner/user.  Getting the raw sounds on tape shouldn't be a problem.  I'm 
wondering about the steps from my raw recorded sounds to the cut, timed, 3 
track 3/8th inch tapes.  
The process begins in a few weeks.
