Yamaha made a ton of these DX-7's (170,000 !)
Some people say that these FM synths are crap,
but I've always loved them. Especially
the DX-11. They didn't make many of these
and they are a fair bit better than the DX-7.
They can duplicate most moog/ARP sounds
better than most of the new stuff can.
Great strings, organ and Rhodes piano sounds
too. Any DX-11 fans out there?
