Here is a posting on my Facebook wall about Frank... It makes me happy that
he likely went without physical suffering... at least I hope he did.
Hi Frank...sorry our meeting has happened as a result of a dear friends
passing. Frank ha been a part of my life since before I was born. My mom, Debra
Dawson has been friends with him since Jr. High. Frank and I continued our
friendship even now that I'm in my 30's. He is an amazing person, and I am so
sorry for your loss as well. ... I spoke to his sister at his funeral and she informed
me that they deemed it natural causes. His weight, smoking, etc. Probably too
much on his heart. If you didn't know, I'll tell you that his sister is the one
that found him. He was in his recliner, eyes closed and listening to music. When
she got there, he had been gone for a while. We are all hoping he went without
pain, she said he looked peaceful. I am going with that...I don't want to think
that he was in pain when he died. You probably didn't hear back from Helen
because as you can imagine she is having a really difficult time...for she is
the one that found him. Once again, we all have suffered a loss in Frank. He was
a great friend to you and a voice of reason for me. I looked up to him. He drove
all the way to Tahoe for my little wedding. It meant the world to me, since at
that time my dad was not able to be there. It was great talking to you...I'm
here if you need a stranger to listen
