Mellotronists

R.M,I. played two amazing sets and a brief encore
at The Gatherings concert here in philly tonite.

i just finished lugging m400 #364 back up the two
flights of stairs to my studio.

it performaed admirably, as did gino's m400.
[along with a couple EMS synthis, a moog 15
and a roland sh2000 all loaned to the band by
myself and gino for the show].

steve dinsdale really gave mine a workout.
it was nice to see it enjoyed so much.

yes - it was a drag hauling those things around.
but it was worth every ache and pain i'll have
over the next couple days. it was a great show,
and the trio of duncan [former list member here],
steve and gary were joined by electric violinist
cyndee lee rule. it was quite cool.

i'll post a link to a review of the show when it
appears... there will no doubt be a lot of pics,
as the turnout was awesome, and there were a TON
of cameras there...


now back to the STILL unusually high noise to
signal ratio...
