I'm not going to venture an opinion on the list as to whether Mike should be a member or not. I only wish to remind everyone that this is a private group that is owned and moderated solely by Don under Yahoo's terms, and while things are obviously free-ranging it is still Don's Yahoo! Group and not a democracy. Like it or not, those are the terms we all implicitly agreed to when we signed on. So, it's not really any of my business what Don's decision is and I hope that, no matter what that decision might ultimately be, we will all defer to his right to make that decision and carry on with the good humor and the graciousness befitting a group that is capable of the intellect and creativity that this one is.
