Gents,

Very well then, I guess I need to go back and listen to those early 
LP's and see what I hear (or hear what I hear).  

As far as "The Name of the Game" goes, I've often wondered if
3-string appears as the high sustain during the chorus but I haven't 
timed it to see if it beats the 8-second clock.  It could be though
in the intro but it's as Mssr. Anderson did the opposite of what we 
strive to do to obtain "that" sound...EQ-ing it so it is less 
plaintive and more dark and subdued.

Now if the Polar 'tron ended up in my living room.......pinch me, I'm 
dreaming again!
