Well Flank, Edgar Froese and
Tangerine Dream are the very reasons I bought and still have my trusty ARP
2600 and Mellotron M400 in 1974.
I have never heard the other band, so I
can offer no opinion on their work.
Perhaps the fact that I started listening
to T-Dream in 1973 makes me hear it differently than you do.
I will admit that I do not like
everything that T-Dream and Froese's released, but I certainly have heard a lot
of other newer releases/artist that leave me disinterested.
Of course this is just my
opinion.
