can't be any worse than the ELP version. er... can it?

so I'm off to see this lot soon, at the rfh. anyone else going? also, emmo's 
got the nice back together, which ought to be a treat. and jeff beck's doing 
a gig with roger waters (ulp!) and the white stripes (why, jeff, why?).
by the way, bruford/copeland was pretty damn good fun. the boredoms and john 
cale... best forgotten. trilok and friends... a bit wine-bar for my taste. 
hackett and glennie seemed to be making it up as they went along, which was 
fine except that they had been told to pretend they were taking it seriously. 
that pompous head-up-arse "wire" magazine crowd were all over the place like 
flies at a bullfight; plainly, one is not supposed to have fun with 
experimental music in order to feature in their headwank mag. this isn't sour 
grapes either- if those bastards ever ran a feature on us, I'd sue the living 
shit out of them.
ahem.

I think manilow did use a 'tron one at least one occasion.... I bet mr kehew 
would know.
