Personally, I have always liked the Who. I think Townsend is  brilliant. 
However... no one in my universe is beyond being goofed on, including  me.

Besides, everyone knows Gandalf was a pain in the ass and a  user. I don't 
recall Rick wearing a pointy hat on  stage.
