OK Fritz, I get the picture, but I'm not trying to make excuses, just looking for a way to get better recordings out of my Tron. Believe me, I'm very happy with what I have, just wish there was a way to crank up the volume in my *studio*. Actually, there have been quite a few good tips since starting this discussion, but most of them I can't use in my current environment. I had no idea that so many people were miking up their Trons. I'll have to try that one of these days when my neighbors are on vacation. Ken M.
