I recall reading that Sinfield came up with new lyrics (notranslation).  Makes me wonder what the original song was about.  Noneof the tracks on Per un Amico are titled Il Fiume Di Vita.
Orig.version entitled 'Appena un Poco', and sounds (IMHO) vastly better than Sinfield's string synth-heavy remix. Italian vocals are far less forced, it's a whole minute longer, and far more Mellotron!
