It's a story about how Dave Biro wanted to create
his own version of the Mellotron after hearing Rick Wakeman and not being able
to afford one himself.
I put Paul Collins in touch with Dave Biro because
I thought his story is / was missing in general discussions about how the
Mellotron can be such an inspirational instrument.
And in Dave Biro's case the sound inspired him not
just musically, but to come up with his own version of the Mellotron (which
was the Birotron).
