Rick, does the FX also have high impedance heads? I think I remember Jerry telling me this, but my memory is a little foggy.

Hi Gang, Been reading last evening's discussion of heads, tapes, and
violin sounds. Thought this was covered long ago. ....

....Anyway, here it is again for reference :

1) MK-II violins -- The original one . Ditto w. Rick's comments .
2) M400 violins -- MK-II violins, EQ'd to be "softer" in tonality.
3) MK-I and MK-II heads -- High Z heads . Those mdls. ONLY .
4) SFX Console heads -- First Mellotron mdl. with Low-Z heads,solid-state preamp.
