Prof. Korb tossed me some Shoe Goo to replace the dislodged pads on #1037, and that worked a treat. Then I did the unthinkable while Jerry wasn't looking and used the Shoe Goo as intended---on my *shoes* (which had soles in a rather unworkable state of decay). Shoe Goo seems much like silicone cement (aquarium sealer, basically), so I'm sure that'd be usable as well. You certainly don't need much, as Doug said. ...kl...
