New Streetly tapes / frames work very well in a MK VI! At TrontoII we tried a standard Streetly M400 frame in a MK VI. On one of the tracks (Fairlight voice, with lots of high frequency content), we noticed that a few notes were not quite as crisp as the others. NOT a big issue to my tin ears! I haven't heard of any problems using MK VI tapes / frames in M400's. It seems to me that Mellotron Archives supply these to M400 owners regularly.
