And Larry "Synergy" Fast acquired his M400 #725 from Rondo Music,NJ in May 1973. The oldest M400 I've seen is #104 owned by a chap in Bucks County, PA. Considering that first year of M400 sales was roughly 1970, it's safe to assume their actual mfg. dates commenced in 1969 . Most likely, after M300 production ceased and retooling for M400 began.
