Greetings Andy and Gang, I purchased M400 #681 July 1973 from the UK.
And Larry "Synergy" Fast acquired his M400 #725 from Rondo Music,NJ in May 1973.

The oldest M400 I've seen is #104 owned by a chap in Bucks County, PA.
Considering that first year of M400 sales was roughly 1970, it's safe to assume
their actual mfg. dates commenced in 1969 . Most likely, after M300 production
ceased and retooling for M400 began.

Cheers, -- Jerry Korb
