RE: [Mellotronists] Interesting version of ITCOTCK - Not Bad

2007-02-19 by Bernard Kornowicz

The keyboard looks like an ancient pump organ. I think the point (or a
point) was to keep it 100% acoustic.

Epitaph is from the 21st Century Schizoid Band Live in Japan DVD. ITCOTKC is
from the Steve Hackett Tokyo Tapes DVD. Both are worth owning.

The Japanese cover is very entertaining :)

A bit more Mellotron and less hohner - cheesy farfisa wouldn't hurt.

I ran across this cover of a Crimson classic, (Ian McD and Giles are on it).

A bit slick..but I like that bassoon sound in the middle..."Oh, ...the
gloom!"

ITCOKC - w/wetton Ian mcdonald

Great flute...didn't think Ian could better the original, but you tell
me...very nicely done.

Then there is always this entertaining Crimson cover....
