Whoever buys the 4 track has a challenge ahead of them.  Because  only 4 were 
built, they were still in the prototype stage and putting the one  right that 
we restored was a bloody nightmare.  Not for the faint hearted  to say the 
very least.  The number of poorly jigged and aligned components  including a 
bent capstan and tape storage box that sat at a ridiculous angle to  the capstan 
etc. etc. means that these are not easy machines to work  on.  And the 
washingmachine cabinet is liable to rip your knuckles at any  moment.  Howver, once 
they are right...they sound good.
