with nowhere to go and reggae has the eternal 3rd beat in the bar running to destruction.
Both are severly handicapped by their respective formulas IMHO. To balance this, I have
spent time listening to prog during this last week via all the internet radio providers and I
am appalled at the majority of what I hear. This genre is currently guilty of crimes against
mankind and may well have always been so. Blues and reggae may be musically
claustrophobic for my tastes but the drivel pouring from these progstations is like some
hideous musical nightmare. Give me a stumbling player who means it rather than some
technical genius bereft of one good musical idea. There, I've said it. Now go and listen to
Chris Thile's 'Not All Who Wander Are Lost'. Musical prowess and real music. Martin
