I stopped to ask him about the mellotrons he'd used the evening before in a concert I attended (not having seen a 400 in the flesh before). He offered to sell me one of the two MkIIs he had for $3000. He even offered to bring it over next time they toured if I would wait that long. Being in university and basically broke, I couldn't take him up on the offer. I should have. Streetly has restored one of the two and it now works perfectly -- according to Martin (but you can't really trust him now, can you? Rick
