I am a huge Tron fan ... particularly the works of Tony Banks, Rick
Wakeman, and King Crimson; Steve Hackett (my hero) thankfully loves
the Mellotron. However, I have never really gotten into the ..
Moody Blues ...
(ducks and covers)
Granted, I have heard a great deal of their stuff (I managed a record
store in the 70s), but they never really gripped me like Genesis did.
Anyway, they are on tour, and will be in Tulsa, OK (my home) on March
1st (my birthday). Would it be worth my going? I looked at their
website, but did not get much info from that. Besides Justin, I'm
not sure who is left.
I do not expect a Tron-a-thon, but it may be some jolly good fun.
Any comments?
Tom

Well, right you are, you won't hear much mellotron,
because I don't think they have used one in quite a while.
But then again - do the other blokes on your list
use one anymore?
Go if you want to hear Justin sing those tunes and
John Lodge back up with bass and falsetto.
otherwise...
