Your English is a damn sight better than our Swedish! No need to apologize. (Actually, your English is quite good, I think.)
"Soaring" in this case means "to rise to an exalted level" or something like that.
The funny thing about this clip is that it doesn't sound very well recorded, which is odd because the Moodies recordings are generally pretty good.
