Marcos Maniacs

Hi all,

Do we have a "new" owner lurking out there??  Just took a look at 
wirewheel.com and Tad's ex green Marcos is no longer listed.  Who 
could it be??  Also a new orange 1970 Volvo 6 is coming in to Hayes' 
shop.  The yellow '70 Volvo 6 is on hold.  Maybe two new owners!

Let's hope they join us.

To All...

I talked to Hayes on Thursday afternoon, 4/4/02. He sold Tad's car to
a guy in Ohio. According to Hayes, the purchaser it is going to do a
complete ground up restoration to the tune of some $40,000!!! It may
be THE primo Marcos anywhere, if he goes through with it. I didn't get
a name...

Hayes also said that the wood frame is still under restoration and it
will be "several" more months before it's completed... It sounded like
he has a lot of irons in the fire... and not enough time to devote to
its completion.

Additonally, he purchased the '70 that was in Houston. It should be in
Florida sometime in the next week or so.

That's all I know...
