Website update

2002-03-05 by mcaqmd

Hi all,

Jeff has again updated the Marcos Maniacs website with some new
stuff! Thanks Jeff!

Me....almost back on the road. New bushings, stainless brake lines,
rebuilt master and slave cylinders, Pertronix ignition, radiator fan,
etc. Maybe next week. It's been up on jacks tooooooo long!

Thanks for noticing Don!
I know you guys probably get tired of my update messages, so I decided
not to do one this time.

Don, I tried to get a Pertronix system for my Cologne Ford 2.8 liter V6,
but they sent me the wrong set. Once I contacted Pertronix again, they
said that they don't make a kit for my application (in fact they said no
V6s!). I can't understand why they wouldn't have one for my application
if they make one for the Essex V6. Any ideas.... advice?

Also, where did you get your bushings and stainless brake lines? I plan
on a brake and suspension rebuild soon myself.

Hi all
I got a test drive in a 2003 Viper coupe (109,000 dollars). Its fast,
corners well and even the exhaust sounds good. Reminds me of my Marcos.

Re: Website update/Pertronix

2002-03-06 by mcaqmd

Jeff,

Got the radius arm and Panhard rod bushes from Rory. Also got
stainless brake lines from Rory.

I was referred to CBS Performance in Colorado Springs, CO by
Pertronix. Pertronix said they couldn't sell me their "foreign" kits
here in the states but CBS Performance could special order them.
Talked to Gary at CBS and had the kit in my hot little hands within a
week! Gary is really helpful. Phone 800-685-1492. The kit for the
Essex V6 is #1264.

www.cbsperformance.com

Good luck. Tell him I sent you.

Website update

2003-01-21 by Don Lattimer

Hi all,

Mark Saxby has updated "The Unofficial Marcos Webpage" with some new "Cars
of the Month" and some racing news and a recap of 2002 racing. Very
interesting reading.

http://www.geocities.com/marcos_cars/

Speaking of racing, the 24 Hours of Daytona starts Jan 31st. Only one
Marcos entered so far, but they only list 41 entries at the moment. That
should increase.

Have a good week!
