Dear David,

I enjoyed our telephone conversation yesterday evening and I'm glad
you have decided to join the MarcosManiacs Group. Welcome!

Your Mini Marcos is well known in the Mini Marcos Owner's Club
(MMOC), as it has quite a pedigree as a ModSports race car when it
competed in the 1970s. It is, I believe, the most winning Marcos
racecar of all time, bar none, with 36 wins, 27 second place and 11
third place finishes from a total of 98 starts (statistics courtesy
of Richard Porter in the UK).

Marcos Maniacs fellow members may see a photo of David's car at:

There is also a copy of the Cars & Car Conversions article regarding
your race car from the early 1980s at this link:

Since you live so close by in Pennsylvania, I'm looking forward to
getting together with you and seeing the Trans-XL racecar for myself
very soon!

Best Regards,

Welcome David!
Nice looking car! Any of you Mini owners know of any others in North America?? If so, have 'em join up.
