it is a pity you nowadays do not live in Holland anymore. It would have been 
very close to the Marcos Euregio Meeting Venue!

I know Klaus too, and indeed he has an impressive collection and is the 
specialist on the early cars. You might have read on the group messages that 
I own a Marcos Fastback (3013) and that I am trying to compile as much of 
the history as possible of the early Marcosses (gullwings and fastbacks).

Do you know the current owner of your Gullwing? I would like to get in touch 
with him to see if what he is doing and to make sure we keep track of the 
car.

Maybe you know of other Gullwings and Fastbacks around, and maybe you can 
help me sorting out the history of these early Marcosses.

I recently spoke to Mr. Page, who currently owns the ex Dave Abbott car, 
which you might know.

Thank you for your kind email.  I'm sorry I couldn't meet you at the Euregio 
Marcos Meeting.  I spoke with Frans Carati in Maastricht on the telephone 
last week and he told me all the details.  Did you see the Euregio photos on 
the Mini Marcos Owners Club website?  They may be seen at the following

Klaus Tweddell brought his 1963 Marcos fastback "3PLY" to the Euregio 
meeting, I see in the photographs.  3PLY is a great car with a super 
history.

I would be very pleased to work with you to develop information regarding 
early Gullwing and Fastback cars.  Klaus is definitely the top expert for 
these cars, but I will assist in any way possible.  Please write to me 
anytime and we can co-ordinate your initiative to track and catalogue the 
early Marcos cars.
