Just a heads up, I've got 5916T back on the road (oil cooler and all), so I well be in Palo Alto on the Sept. 8th. ; Mike siad he was going to be there, Don are you going to make it? ; I haven't heard if Mark is on the road, I think he had several projects under way the per his last email. It would be great if we could get 5 or 6 cars together! Has anybody heard from any of the other cars in our area?

Mike could you bring your inventory of Marcos shirts (XL), I would like two if you have them.

Sounds like a good summer of fun.

I probably should leave the "year" out of the Registry. A lot of cars were sold to "constructors" who then found the engine/gearbox, installed them, and sold the car. Mine was of that type I believe. Some constructors were faster than others so consequently they were sold and licensed quicker. Some took months or years to complete the car and then it was registered. So there may be a lower chassis # car that is labeled as a later year than another. Also I think some are missing the chassis # plate and the owner is going on past reference.

In my case the California registration says mine is a 1967 (V6?) when in fact it is a 1971. Whoever registered it said it was a 1967 because of the covered-headlight ban in the US after 1968 at the time. I have a letter from Jem Marsh saying that it is a 1971.

So who knows ? Maybe I'll just delete the year column.

At least it's done so we have an idea of what's over here and where!

Small detail though, it seems like you have changed the years of John Parkers 1800

and the Marconis 1800 (my 1800 is # 4048 from the summer '65, so the Marconi # 4043

must be a '64 or '65, - unless the numbers are a little random from time to time?)

By the way I had some good racing this summer both here in Denmark and in Sweden

(resulting in a couple of bended wishbones though) included a city race in Copenhagen,

good fun. Goes faster every time but still can't catch up with the E-type's and Elan's, but

maybe next year :)
