Maniacs . . .

I am sorry to have to inform you that Dave McCubbin passed away on Sunday
November 10, 2002, at the age of 47.

Dave was a great Marcos enthusiast. He was restoring a gullwing (a
perpetual project). Dave was one of the earliest members of the Maniacs, and
was a source of Marcos history and information for the rest of us. He came
out to all the local car shows, and would always stop by to chat with those
of us who had our cars on display.

He leaves behind his wife, Lorie, daughter Alexandra, age 3, and son Aidan,
age 9 months.

Regards . . . Ron McLeod

Ron,
I'm very sad to hear that. Didn't know Dave personally but it is really a shame with kids that young and he being so young also. If possible, please express my condolences to the family.
Regards,
Don Lattimer

Ron
I never meet Dave, my loss I'm sure. Just a though, should we try
to help his wife out by getting top dollar for his cars? If you (or some
one else) are going to lead such an effort count me in and I'm sure other
Maniacs may wish to jump in also.
	Regards

Hello Ron
I am really sorry to hear the bad news about David.
If it is possible please pass on our condolences to his wife.
What a tragedy for some one so young.

Ron
Sorry to hear about David, I also did not have the chance to meet
him but hearing of such such young people passing on does make you
want to live life to the fullest whilst we are here....my condolensces
to the family.

.........on a happier note. For those who have the resources I heartily
recommend searching for a TVR ..I cannot speek to anything past a
1974 model but in the last few months I have driven a half dozen
ranging from 63 to 74 and have just acquired a 1974 2500m .......
having not driven the Marcos yet I hope it is every bit as good as the
TVR
    Cheers Dave #5577
P.S. Sorry for the cross post
