Marcos Maniacs

I was out at the Wellington Country Park Classic Car show yesterday.

The weather was lousy (torrential rain on and off) and the car leaked 
a bit (oh dear...), but in between the showers I got a lot of 
complimentary comments (and the few usual hilarious ones - Best I 
ever heard was "It's a kit car, there's a VW Beetle under the body"!) 
and the previous owner (13 years ago!) stopped by to say hello, show 
the car to his disbelieving son (who he didn't have when he owned the 
car and I let sit in the car between showers!), say how good he 
thought the car looked and chat about what I'd done to it over the 
years (surprisingly little when I thought about it).

Next week is the British Sportscar festival at Brooklands. There's a 
little of the original banking left and they usually let you have a 
run up the steep test hill and out onto a few hundred yards of it. 

Are there any UK Marcos owners attending (or interested in doing so) 
on Sunday (2nd June)?
