I tried a couple of years ago to buy tyres this size and couldn't get any. You may find 'classic tyre' specialists still do the correct type (The original tyres were Avons). I settled on 185/70 x 13s (Goodyears in my case) which look great (ie, in keeping) and greatly improved the grip and feel of the car. > Also any suggestions on makes of tyres would be helpful! > > Sorry for this garbled message but I am in the process of rebuilding > the car and do not know what size it should have had? I bet a lot of people have wheels knocking around (I wouldn't swap my standard wheels for anything though - Jem once said to me how good it was to see a car on it's original wheels! :^)) Cheers, Mark > regards > Ashley > #5504 > > www.molyneuxs.com for pics of my car
