Marcos Maniacs

Hi group,
I have posted a picture of my Marcos with its new wheels and tires.  
Not visable is the front suspension rebuild and new springs on all 4 
corners. I also took the car down to be weighed. It cost me $10 
dollars to have the car weighed at a certified public scale.  I 
forgot to take the car jack but I had the car weighed with a full 
tank of gas, spare tire and rim, and all the other vital fluids.  
The advertised weight of this car is 1,700 pounds.  My car deviates 
from stock with a roll bar, oil cooler, glass rear window, and 
different wheels.  With all these additions the Marcos weighed... 
drum roll please.... 1,780 pounds "all up" and ready to roll. Not 
bad!  The "weighmaster" couldn't believe how light the Marcos was.
The weather has finally improved in California so I have been 
driving the Marcos to the airplane hanger for the past couple of 
days (75 mile round trip).  It felt nice to be on the road again.
