Steve I've used a lot of West System Epoxy on my sail boat, West Marine stores carry the product and they generally stock a great how to use book, which explains all the various alternative mixes and additives. I'm used to steel-framed Marcos cars without IRS. Your damage doesn't look too bad. I would be making repairs with West System Epoxy as used in the wooden boat industry. I have used this product for numerous repairs on my Marcos. Obviously, you will need to disassemble mechanicals around the damaged area for access, then grind and clean to find the extent of damage. -Donny ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve <mailto:sgk@...> To: marcosmaniacs@yahoogroups.com Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2013 9:07 PM Subject: [MarcosManiacs] Help with undercarriage crack 1965 1800GT [4 Attachments] Does anyone know how to handle a crack in the plywood above the muffler? Looks like the muffler bottomed out and went into the plywood. See attached pictures. Also, the car sits very low and has trouble clearing driveway. Is there a way to raise the car an inch or two?
