Steve, If you want to raise the car, a new set of shocks from Rory at Heritage, will give you a rise of at from 1 to 1.5 lnches, however, it will be a much stiffer ride. I replaced the shocks on Ron's 1970 and my 1970 Marcos' and we have about 3" road clearance under the seat pan. It is a bit pricey when you factor in the shipping, but I think you will be happy with the rise.
