Steve,
If you already have the 60 degree V6 and 5 speed,
go for it. Otherwise, consider the aluminum V8 Rover 3.5 or 3.9 out of Land
Rover Discovery and Range Rover. The TR7/8 5 speed overdrive bolts up, and
Marcos used these engines in the 1980's along with the V6. Any old Ford Ranger
will have your V6 a/c compressor and brackets.
The Rover/5 spd is the setup I am
using.
