Marcos Maniacs

Good day Ash,
I am glad there is another Marcos on the road.
I rebuilt mine twice. The first time took 11 months (1100 hours), and drove it for 10 year. I repainted it in 1986 and parked it in 1988 for 12 years. In 2001, I decided it was time for a complete re-do. This took 7 years. I have enjoyed it more now that I am able to take it to shows and on trips, even though it seems to get closer to the ground each time I get in and out of it (thanks Ron).
In 1985, I stripped and repainted a 1971 Volvo powered (like mine) for a Captain in the Air Force.
I am nearly through with a complete re- do (including rebuilding the lower part of the frame assembly, and interior) for a good friend. I started in May, and tried to have it done by the 1st of November. Looks like another month or so to complete.

congrads! I have a 68 1600 GT that I inherited a few months ago....no pay raises for the foreseeable future, and a newborn.....so I will post in 15 years too when mine is on the road 9hasn't run since 1979.....

Hi guys, it has been some while, perhaps years since I last posted on here. I would like to let every know that the 'big joke' I have been telling for a number of years is finally over.... The Marcos V4 now V6 I started restoring over 15 years ago is at last road legal!

Thanks to everyone that has helped me out over the years with answers to stupid questions, yours and my persistance has finally paid off!

I will post some pics and finally updated my sites with more details soon.
