Took the V6 GT out from winter storage today. Checked oil, water and pressure in the tires, and with power assistance from an extra battery, the car started :-) A bit low oil pressure, but it ran smoothly. Even the heavy petrol leak from the accelerator pump was cured with a new gasket and making new treads for the screws. But; when checking the engine, oil was all over :-( Stopped the engine quickly, and started the hunting for the leak. Noticed several cracks and one big hole in the oil pressure hose... I'll trace one locally, but how on earth do you remove - and fit a new - hose? Especially on the engine side; it's impossible to get a spanner down to where the hose end is... Any advices? And also; any advices for a better hose than the plastic one being there now...? Regards Bjorn-Anders, Norway http://www.haverstad.net/marcos
